The haps

Summer's here and the living is... busy! Whoever said "easy" must not have been working seven days a week. I'm definitely not complaining- I'm so excited to not only be continuing to work at the best Jewish Deli in town but to also have started one of my internships! I've begun working at the Student Center on Georgia State's campus within the Marketing Department. So far, I've helped created designs to promote events, inform students of ongoing renovations, and revamp forms. It's a learning experience for sure and I'm so grateful to see the rules and restrictions of corporate design in action. It's also been a great way to keep my designs skills sharp and improve my knowledge of the Adobe Suite.

Last week, I design this instagram post for an on-campus Independence Day event!

It was challenging because of the size restrictions of working within instagram, and it was important to utilize that space to emphasize only the most vital details- time, place, sponsor, and the disability statement, as well as the title of the event- while making it colorful, fun, and patriotic.
