Nashville 2015 // Harper Sylvia // Daniel Radcliffe

Current mood:

Really, need I say more?

No, but don't worry, I will!

I am so ready for vacation! Not in the I-hate-the-real-world kind of way, just in a I-love-the-beach-more-than-the-real-world kind of way. I'm so excited to be learning and growing each day at my internship and becoming more and more familiar with the Adobe Suite (InDesign especially!).

I'm super missing Nashville and I seriously cannot wait to meet miss Harper Sylvia!

These are some of my favorite pictures from my most recent trip there (Harper had not yet graced us with her presence).

And this is miss thang! (Note: These pictures were taken by Bella Baby Photography, not myself!)

Beyond adorable, amirite?

Currently working on some birth announcements to introduce her to the world:

Still considering different approaches, but so far I'm partial to the second one.

Til next time!

The haps

Summer's here and the living is... busy! Whoever said "easy" must not have been working seven days a week. I'm definitely not complaining- I'm so excited to not only be continuing to work at the best Jewish Deli in town but to also have started one of my internships! I've begun working at the Student Center on Georgia State's campus within the Marketing Department. So far, I've helped created designs to promote events, inform students of ongoing renovations, and revamp forms. It's a learning experience for sure and I'm so grateful to see the rules and restrictions of corporate design in action. It's also been a great way to keep my designs skills sharp and improve my knowledge of the Adobe Suite.

Last week, I design this instagram post for an on-campus Independence Day event!

It was challenging because of the size restrictions of working within instagram, and it was important to utilize that space to emphasize only the most vital details- time, place, sponsor, and the disability statement, as well as the title of the event- while making it colorful, fun, and patriotic.
